LASTMA, LNSC officials get training

LAGOS State Safety Commission (LSSC) has trained officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) and Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC) on safety management.

It gave the officials kits after the training.

Director-General of LSSC Lanre Mojola said the training and donation of kits were to curb spread of Coronavirus.

“We organised the training and presented safety kits to sensitise rescue operators on the need to curb the spread of COVID-19. We educated them on hygiene and adherence to safety precautions,” he added.

Mojola said the pandemic could be prevented if Lagosians, especially rescue operators, adhered to safety and hygienic steps as specified by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and Ministry of Health.

A participant, Mrs. Longe Modupe, praised the government for the initiative, noting that the training and kits would assist them to take care of their health and improve their performance.
