LASIEC Chairperson Commends Ajeromi-Ifelodun’s Election Preparedness

The Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) team, led by Chairperson Honourable Justice Bola Okikiolu Ighili (rtd), visited Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government to assess their preparedness for the upcoming local government election.

 

The Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) team, led by Chairperson Honourable Justice Bola Okikiolu Ighili (rtd), visited Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government to assess their preparedness for the upcoming local government election.

The team was warmly received by Vice Chairman Honourable Lucky Uduikhue, representing Executive Chairman Honourable Ayoola Fatai Adekunle.

During the visit, Honourable Okikiolu commended the Local Government’s level of preparedness, while Honourable Ayoola assured LASIEC of a free, fair, and credible election. The Executive Chairman highlighted Ajeromi-Ifelodun’s peaceful nature and pledged to sensitize residents on electoral processes.

Honourable Okikiolu expressed satisfaction with the council’s preparations and advised them to maintain peace. She encouraged the council to focus on the 241,658 registered voters and urged eligible residents to register.

The Council Manager, Mr. Ramon Babatunde, gave the Votes of Thanks, while the Secretary to the Local Government offered the closing prayer.
