Otunba Stephen Ajose of Shapati Village in Ibeju Lekki Local Government, Lagos State has cried out over alleged threat to his life and those of his family members by a client who bought a parcel of land from him.

Otunba Ajose explained that indeed, one Chief Frank C. Enendu bought a parcel of land measuring 22acres from his family but afterward went ahead not to only trespass but also wrongly and forcefully encroached on, and grabbed additional 10 acres without any authorisation.

According to the complainant, the said Chief Enendu has since resorted to intimidating and harassing him by allegedly using the police from Area-J Zone to frame up in order to effect his arrest.

Ajose stated that: “Chief Enendu acquired additional 10 acres of land without his due authorisation and acknowledgment as the owner.

“Along the line, he started harassing and threatening me, and other people on the land by force by insinuating that he’s the rightful owner of the land.

“The matter has moved from Elemoro Station to Area Command Office (Area J) to Zone II. He has gone ahead fabricating lies to people who care to listen.

“The Inspector-General of Police has wadedinto the matter and he wants to take a cursory look at the case in Abuja.

“On this note, we here by want to bring to the attention of the residents of Ibeju-Lekki/Shapati town and the good people of Nigeria at large to know that Chief Enendu is not the rightful owner of the additional 10 hectares of land he has illegally acquired,” Chief Otunba Ajose said.
