The Lagos command says that the four officers seen in a viral video extorting money from a civilian have been arrested on the orders of the Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu.
In a statement on Friday by its spokesperson, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu, the command said the officers are currently facing “disciplinary actions.”
“While condemning this inglorious act, the Commissioner of Police vows to deal decisively with any police officer found acting in such or another unprofessional manner in the command,” Ajisebutu said.
