Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro has charged Lands Officers across the State to embrace emerging technologies and align with evolving digital trends to improve efficiency and service delivery.
Agoro gave this charge during the opening ceremony of a Three-Day retreat tagged “Lands 360: Team Bonding and Performance Enhancement”, organised for Management Staff of the Lands Bureau.
The retreat, themed “Sustainable Performance, Digital Readiness and Team Excellence for a Greater Lagos,” commenced on Friday, 8th May, 2026, at Jubilee Chalet, Epe,
In his remarks, the Head of Service described the theme as timely, noting that technological advancements continue to redefine workplace practices. He stressed that the State is transitioning from conventional digital processes to more advanced electronic systems, making it imperative for Officers to adapt accordingly.
He commended the Permanent Secretary, Lands Bureau, Mr. Kamar Olowoshago, alongside the Management Staff and other Lands Officers, for their dedication and resilience in the discharge of their duties. Agoro noted that Public Service is a calling and lauded their commitment, which distinguishes the Bureau among other MDAs.
The Head of Service further acknowledged the patience and professionalism demonstrated by the Officers in dealing with members of the public, emphasising that managing public interactions requires a high level of tolerance and understanding.
Agoro concluded by expressing his appreciation to the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, for his consistent support towards the training and retraining of Public Servants across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, aimed at enhancing their capacity and overall performance.
