The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has felicitated the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, on the occasion of her birthday, describing her as a distinguished daughter of Lagos whose life of public service has been marked by compassion, resilience and commitment to humanity.
In a statement signed by the State Chairman of the party, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, the Lagos APC celebrated Senator Tinubu’s remarkable journey from her years as First Lady of Lagos State to her twelve-year representation of Lagos Central Senatorial District and her current national role as First Lady of Nigeria.
The party said Senator Oluremi Tinubu has consistently demonstrated that public service is fundamentally about touching lives, empowering communities and giving hope to the people.
Lagos APC particularly commended her enduring commitment to women, children, families and vulnerable Nigerians, noting that through the Renewed Hope Initiative, she has championed interventions in critical areas including education, healthcare, social investment and economic empowerment.
According to the party, these initiatives complement the broader objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Federal Government and reflect Senator Tinubu’s emphasis on compassion, human dignity and responsive public service.
The party also noted that her humanitarian interventions and advocacy for disadvantaged Nigerians have continued to place the welfare of vulnerable citizens at the centre of her public engagements.
“For Lagos APC, however, today’s celebration carries a special significance. Senator Oluremi Tinubu remains one of our own—a proud daughter of Lagos whose years of service to the state and the nation have become an important part of our collective political history,” the statement said.
