The Lagos State Conference of 2025 Chairmanship Aspirants (LACOCA’25) has joined numerous well-wishers across the state in celebrating the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, on the occasion of his birthday.

In a goodwill message signed on behalf of the body, the aspirants described the Speaker as “a quintessential leader, an astute legislator, and a visionary statesman whose life and career continue to inspire dedication and service.”

They lauded Obasa’s remarkable contributions to legislative development and democratic governance, noting that his leadership of the Lagos Assembly has positioned it as “a model of stability, excellence, and people-centered lawmaking in Nigeria.”

“Your wisdom, foresight, and commitment to the ideals of good governance have strengthened democratic institutions and deepened public trust in the legislative process,” the statement read.

As the Speaker marks another milestone, LACOCA’25 prayed for God’s continued guidance, good health, and renewed strength for him to sustain his legacy of purposeful leadership.

“You remain a shining example to emerging leaders and a symbol of progressive politics in Lagos State,” the message concluded.
