Jelili had audience with Education Secretary and School Managers in Alimosho LG Area

As parts of efforts to enhance quality and affordable education at the primary school level  in Alimosho LG area, the Executive Chairman, Alimosho Local Government Hon Jelili Adewale Sulaimon  today had audience with the Education Secretary and the School Managers  in the eight Primary Schools within the LG area.

As parts of efforts to enhance quality and affordable education at the primary school level  in Alimosho LG area, the Executive Chairman, Alimosho Local Government Hon Jelili Adewale Sulaimon  today had audience with the Education Secretary and the School Managers  in the eight Primary Schools within the LG area.

Speaking during the pally, he said ” one of the priorities of this administration is to ensure that  education reaches the nooks and crannies of our communities.We want to see to it  that all children of school ages are in school , without  any exception, hence, our educational  policy must be inclusive and embracing.,no implementable educational policy can be formulated without the input of the critical Stakeholders,of which the School  Managers come first”.

He Said, no too long ago, the Local Government established and commissioned the Vocational Training Centre to complement the efforts of SUBEB,we hope to graduate the beneficiaries of the program in no distance time in our primary schools.This dream can only be made possible through the efforts of the ES and the School Managers.

The Chairman took time out to know the challenges the Schools are being face with and the best way to tackle them.

The Education Secretary Mrs.  Airat Alamu complained about insecurity  in most of the schools due to the absence of perimeter Fence, Gates and  dearth of Night Guards.

He assured the Council Engineer Lawrence Akande to take a holistic action on the requests of the School Managers .

The School Managers present were Mrs Risikat Toyin Giwa of Egbeda Primary School, Mrs D.A Edebor of Rauf Aregbesola Primary School. Mrs B A. Ige of Ebenezer Primary School,Egbeda,Mrs Folorunso Oke of Community Primary School,Sasa, Mr  H.O. Adebanjo of Akowonjo Primary Sch, Mrs Afusat Olori of Abati Primary School and Mrs S B Omoarukhe of Sasa Primary.
