The fifth edition of free GCE forms presentation to indigent students of Lagos Mainland held in the early hours of today at the council secretariat.

At the presentation, Hon. Mrs Omolola Essien advised the beneficiaries of the GCE forms to study really hard and avoid any form of  distractions, there is time for everything, so focus on your examination now. She affirmed.

The trained teacher turned politician informed that her administration also gives free JAMB forms and that she and and her team are currently working on some other educational packages that’ll improves the students of the LGA very soon.

Hon. Essien thanked the management staffs led by Mr. Olusegun Ajagunna and the legislative arm under the leadership of Hon. Azeez Oloto for making the exercise a possibility.

Mr Abdul-Salam Adeyemi, HOD Education and Library Services in his remark said: “Education is the best legacy and Mama (the chairman) ensures we make sure our youths are well taken care of academically and morally. The chairman is ever-ready when it comes to education and we appreciate her always.

One of the beneficiaries, Ireti Salako, said she heard about the program some years ago and never believed. I am grateful I’ve benefitted today, Mommy is doing a lot for the community such as providing free GCE.

Another of the beneficiaries, Segun Balogun, appreciated the chairman for the support and pray that God Almighty continue to bless her and her family.

“I’m so happy to be one of the beneficiaries of 5th edition of the free GCE forms distribution,” says the beneficiary.

Also at the GCE forms presentations ceremony were Vice chairman,Alh. Hon Jubril Emilagba, SLG, Hon. Wasiu Ogunniyi, Hon. Tunde Busari, Hon. Billiaminu Aduramigha,  Hon. Toyin Fanoiki, Hon. Ayo Frank, Hon. George Fadodun and supevisor for education Hon. K.K Omolaja, supervisor for health, Alh. Afeez M. Danmola, supervisor for youth and sports, Mr Lateef Yussuf, supervisor for budget, Hon. Rafiu Sallam,  Chief of staff, Mr Taofeek Balogun, Human resources officer, Mr Alli-Balogun and other members of the management staff.
