Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU), Badagry Local Government Education Authority (LGEA), under the leadership of Comrade (Prince) Wawu Muritala Mautin earlier today, Thursday 4th November, 2021 presented the PROJECT-FOCUSED CHAIRMAN OF THE YEAR AWARD 2021 to Hon. Samson Folorunso Olatunde (SAMOLA), the Executive Chairman of Olorunda Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
The award was presented at NASU’s Fund-raising and Award-Giving Day 2021 held at the Badagry Town-Hall.
The Award according to Comrade Wawu was presented to Hon. Olatunde in appreciation of his remarkable performance at the helm of affairs in Olorunda LCDA which has seen the Council witness an unprecedented shift in paradigm in the area of infrastructural development.
In a brief chat with the media upon receiving the award, Hon. Olatunde who is also fondly refered to as Mr. Project by admirers for his almost inexhaustible list of strides, appreciated the body for the recognition, while also promising to intensify efforts so as to compliment what has been achieved so far. According to him, “there’s a lot to be done yet!”.
