The greatest moment of any festive season such as ileya is to make people happy which makes the memory lingers in their heart.
This was exactly the plan executed by the Ileya welfare planning committee which ensured the welfare package of the executive Chairman Oshodi-Isolo Local government Hon.Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh was well delivered even in his absence as he performs this year Hajj at the holy land of Mecca.
This year Ileya welfare packeage includes 1000 Rams, 200 cows, Over 1000 50kg of rice and cash support which was shared across the seven wards of the Local Government with community and political leaders, Mosques and Junctions are beneficiaries of the Ileya special package.
The committee ensured that all that is due to each of the leaders and elders of the party irrespective of political caucuses or divides were delivered with acknowledgement that it was received, 50 kG bags of rice and cash was shared and distributed to the wards which the ward executives takes the possession, all elected political office holders smiles home with cash gift, a ram each and 50 kg of rice, some of the political appointees also enjoyed the goodies of ram ,rice and cash gift. The community development association were also not left out as cows was given to the CDC to ensure their community is light up in happy mood during the festive period.
Some other groups and personality were also factor in the arrangement to ensure the welfare package is an all-inclusive for everyone and not politicians alone.
All the civil servants received their Ileya bonus for merriment through their salary bank account for the first time to ensure transparency and equity. Bags of rice were also distributed to them to ensure everybody has a happy moment in their various homes.
Hon.Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh has also sent an invitation to the public to feast with his family at his Sehinde Callisto resident on Ileya day a tradition which has been in existence for some years now.
In all, over 500 bags of 50kg rice, 400 rams ,100 cows and monetary supports has so far been distributed and more plans will be executed before the D-Day of Edil-kabir.
It is not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives but it is what we do consistently which calls for others to emulate to bring smiles to our community and homes as exhibited by the welfare committee on Ileya welfare package in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government.
