When we spoke recently on sundry issues, you sounded inspirational,  full of life and your spirit was extremely high. I never knew it was the last.

The news of your demise this morning hit me like a shock-storm and right now, words are just not enough to begin to express my heartfelt sorrow.

You were not just a mother, but an exceptional counsellor, mentor and guardian.

I am deeply pained by your sudden exit because  you did not tarry enough  to reap the fruits of your great labour and sacrifices within and outside your political family.

We however take solace in the popular saying that   “A mother is with us always, first in her lifetime, then forever in our memories”

You were a compassionate mother of all and for all, a genuine  lover of the people, an exemplary democrat, a charismatic, purposeful and intentional leader.

Your ground-breaking records of achievements as an irrepressible female political amazon and public servant par excellence  will forever remain indelible in our hearts.

The entire Mogaji/Tinubu family and your immediate progressives political family in Ikeja as well as the APC family nationwide will sure miss your astute leadership and invaluable contributions.

You came, you saw and you conquered. You are simply irreplaceable!
