Federal and State Governments give kudos to Ojo Local Government on projects delivery

Local Governments should provide necessary infrastructural development to the grassroot people being the closest tier of government.

This was the assertion of the Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter- Governmental Affairs’ delegation led by Engr.Kayode Adebayo during the inspection tour of the projects in Ojo Local Government Area today.

Engr. Adebayo was satisfied with the level of works and empowerment programmes done by Hon. Rasulu Olusola Idowu (Mr.Project) during the period under review, noting that the purpose of the inspection was to ascertain the performance of the local governments’ Chairmen and to ensure values for taxpayers fund.

In his own remark, the Director, Projects Monitoring Team of the Lagos State Ministry of Local Governments and Community Affairs, Mr. Ramon Olatunji Ogunjobi commended the Executive Chairman and his team for the level of development sectorially adding that the local government can still do more to make lives more meaningful to the Residents.

The Executive Chairman was ably represented by the Vice Chairman, Hon.(Mrs.) Edna Uche Ubochi, who remarked that the visit would ginger us to contribute more on the development of the local government area. She further commended the routine inspection of the Federal and State Governments on the local government performance.

The Delegation from the federal and state were conducted round to  inspect the completed and ongoing projects in the local government area.

The event was witnessed by the management team.
