The Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Finance and member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, has appealed to constituents to renew their mandate for another term, as the campaign season officially commences.
Faleke, in a message to the people of Ikeja, expressed appreciation for their continued support and confidence in his representation over the years, stressing that his administration in the National Assembly had remained focused on legislation, constituency development, empowerment and employment facilitation.
According to him, his years in the House of Representatives have witnessed the proposal and sponsorship of major legislation, the delivery of impactful constituency projects and empowerment initiatives, as well as the facilitation of employment opportunities with the Federal Government for numerous constituents.
He also commended the people of Ikeja Federal Constituency for their steadfast support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidates at various levels, particularly President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“As we begin this journey once again, I humbly ask that you renew your confidence in me and grant me the opportunity to serve you for another term,” Faleke said.
He assured constituents that, if re-elected, he would remain committed to listening to their concerns, consolidating existing achievements and pursuing more initiatives capable of improving the lives of residents across the constituency.
Faleke disclosed that he would, in the coming days, present a detailed account of achievements recorded during the past four years while also unveiling his vision and priorities for the next term.
“If given the mandate once again, our focus will be to consolidate on these achievements, build on our progress, and do even more for the people of Ikeja,” he stated.
The lawmaker expressed gratitude to the constituents for their unwavering support, trust and prayers, while reaffirming his commitment to effective and people-oriented representation.
He concluded by calling for continued unity and support for the development of Ikeja Federal Constituency, Lagos State and Nigeria.
