Four residents of Ikeja Federal Constituency have secured appointments into the prestigious Federal Institute of Industrial Research, Oshodi (FIIRO), in a development facilitated by the Federal Lawmaker representing the constituency, Rt Hon James Abiodun Faleke.
The beneficiaries — Bakare Saheed Olatunde, Ogbue Onyeka Angela, Abdullahi Abubakar Garba, and Bankole Temitope Joy — have formally received their appointment letters and are currently undergoing documentation and onboarding procedures at the agency.
The appointments highlight ongoing efforts to expand access to federal employment opportunities for qualified constituents and to promote youth empowerment and capacity development within Ikeja Federal Constituency.
Observers note that the inclusion of the new appointees into FIIRO aligns with broader objectives of strengthening human capital development at the grassroots level, while reinforcing the institute’s mandate to drive industrial research, innovation, and technological advancement in Nigeria.
FIIRO, a key federal research institution, plays a pivotal role in supporting Nigeria’s industrial growth through research-driven solutions, product development, and technology transfer initiatives.
