Faleke Empowerment Programme: 11,000 Ikeja Federal Constituents to benefit in skills training, cash grants in 2024

Rt. Hon. (Dr) James Abiodun Faleke, the distinguished Federal Lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, has declared that 11,000 constituents will benefit from this year’s empowerment scheme in phases.

The first phase of 2,166, which began on Tuesday and continued on Wednesday, has already empowered 576 constituents with cash grants.

 

Thursday, August 29th, 2024, an additional 200 constituents will receive training and cash grants.

 

Representing Rt. Hon. Faleke, Mr. Olawale Ajala encouraged participants to be self-sufficient and take advantage of the training.

 

He shared inspiring stories of past beneficiaries who successfully started businesses with the support of the empowerment program.

 

One of the beneficiaries, a woman who received a laptop and N50,000 grant, which she used to start a business center from home. Now owns three shops with employees.

 

The event was attended by notable figures, including Alhaji Kehinde Onifade, Apex leader of Onigbongbo LCDA; Hon. Bunmi Oluyadi, Vice Chairman of Ojodu LCDA; Comrade Akeem Dauda, SLG, Ikeja Local Government; Hon. Edward ARAGBONFOH; Comrade Ademola Banjo aka Playsafe, PA to Hon. Faleke; and others.

 

One beneficiary, a non-politician, expressed gratitude to Rt. Hon. Faleke, praying for God’s continued blessings and protection upon him and his family for making the Ikeja Federal Constituency proud.

 

The training continues on Friday at NIJ. Participants are advised to check the list for their names, as posted by Barrister Olawale Ajala. The commitment to serving the people remains unwavering.
