Eredo Local Council Development Area under the leadership of Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye has flagged off the Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health + Nutrition (MNCAH+N) on Tuesday 7th November, 2023 in the council Secretary.
The flag off was done by the wife of the Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Mrs. Ismail Oyinloluwa.
In her address she appreciate parents for attending the programme and also appreciate the Executive Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye for sponsoring the yearly 1-Week programme.
She stressed that the Maternal and Child programme is mainly for pregnant women, nursing mothers, and Child of age 0-5 years. She however advice all mothers to attend any Health Care Centre close to them for the services rendered by the government.
The Medical Officer of Health Dr. Omobolaji Fehintola in her speech address the parents on what the yearly programme is all about and encouraged them to attend the health programme for proper medical check-ups. She emphasis on the importance of family planning for every household, most importantly for our health wellness and the present condition of the country.
At the flag off ceremony is the Special Adviser to Chairman on Health Matters Hon. Akingbade Omolara, Apex Nurse Mrs Ayoade Olabisi, Apex Community Health Officer Mrs Yusuf Ayoka, Health Educator Mrs Shittu Mariam and Public Affairs Officer Mr. Olaojubu Idowu Nathaniel.
