Ikeja LG held  a launching/decoration of emblem-event towards the commemoration of the 2022 Armed forces Remembrance Day .

The event which was held at the conference room of the Executive Chairman is to honour Nigeria’s fallen heroes.

In a brief ceremony the Executive Chairman, Dr. Mojeed Alabi Balogun launched the emblem and was decorated alongside his principal officers- by the Chairman of the Nigerian Legion, Ikeja LG Area Council, Colonel Mathew Adelagun.

In attendance and also decorated were: The Vice Chairman, Hon. Yomi Mayungbe; the deputy leader, Hon. Nurudeen Basher; Hon Benjamin Osindairo; and Hon. Yasin Olowolagba.

Others are the Head of Administration, Mr Azeez Saheed Abiodun; Dir., HR/ ADMIN, Mr Muyiwa Ayeni; Council Engr., Mr Olufemi Joseph; HOD Education, Mrs Folake Ajayi;  HOD Budget, Mr Babatunde Saheed; HOD Environment Sanitarian Ajanaku; Dir. Public Affairs, Mr Oladapo Olayori; HOD WAPA, Mrs Merotiwon; Legal Officer, Barr. Mrs Akiinwumi; Internal Auditor, Miss Giwa; the External Solicitor to the LG, Olumide Oyewole; Ikeja LG NULGE Chairman, Comrade Olukayode Tunwashe; and Mr Alaye.
