On the 1st of March 2021, 360 new confirmed cases and 8 deaths were recorded in Nigeria

Till date, 156017 cases have been confirmed, 133904 cases have been discharged and 19015 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory

The 360 new cases are reported from 19 states- Lagos (120), Edo (38), Kaduna (25), FCT (23),Imo (23), Delta (19), Akwa Ibom (17),Plateau (17) Rivers (16) Nasarawa (15), Kwara (13), Oyo (9), Ogun (8), Bauchi (4), Osun (4), Kano (3), Kebbi (3), Niger (2) and Katsina (1).

A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities
