On the 21st of January 2022, 236 new confirmed cases and 1 deaths were recorded in Nigeria

Till date, 251 930 cases have been confirmed, 225906 cases have been discharged and 3124 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory

The 236 new cases are reported from 11 States- Lagos (90), Gombe (66), FCT (29), Delta (12), Kaduna (11), Osun (10), Kano (8), Rivers (7), Ekiti (1), Nasarawa (1) and Oyo (1)

A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities
