Till date, 209546 cases have been confirmed, 197546 cases have been discharged and 2838 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory

The 159 new cases are reported from 12 states- FCT (71), Lagos (20), Imo (17), Rivers (15), Cross River (9), Kano (7), Ondo (7), Plateau (4), Ekiti (3), Niger (3), Delta (2), and Bauchi (1)

A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities
