Coronavirus: NCDC records 276 new cases as toll hits 8344 in Njgeria

NCDC Update as at Tuesday 26th May, 2020

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday through it tweeter handle @NCDCgov announced that Nigeria has recorded two hundred and seventy-six, 276, COVID-19 cases.

Lagos maintained it epicenter status with 161 cases, while Rivers State followed with 36.

It added that the total number of confirmed cases in the country now stands at 8344.

Of the 276 new cases, Lagos recorded the highest number with 161 cases, followed by Rivers with 36, Edo 27, Kaduna 19, Nasarawa 10, Oyo 6,Kano 4, Delta and Ebonyi 3 cases each, Gombe 2 new cases, Ogun, Ondo, Borno, Abia and Bauchi each recorded one case.

“8344 cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria

So far, 2,385 patients have been discharged while the country has recorded 249 deaths.
