Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has extended his kind wishes to afrobeat star, David Adeleke, aka Davido, and his newly-wedded wife, Chioma.
Sanwo-Olu’s goodwill message was contained in a post on X.com on Wednesday.
He wrote, “Congratulations to Davido and Chioma on their beautiful union. The assurance of your love story is heartening, and I am happy to celebrate with you both on this joyous occasion.
“May your life together be abundant with blessings, love, and joy. I wish you a lifetime of togetherness, success, and serenity for your family. Congratulations #CHIVIDO24”
The governor, who graced the wedding in Lagos on Tuesday, also clocked 59 on the same day.
Also sharing pictures from the event on X.com on Wednesday, Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, wrote, “We extend our heartfelt congratulations to award-winning musician and Afrobeat star, David Adeleke, also known as #davido, on his marriage to his long-time love, Chioma Rowland, as the couple tied the knot yesterday.
“We pray for a blissful marital life for the newlyweds, filled with abundant love and God’s grace throughout their journey together.”
Some other dignitaries who graced the event include, Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, the Oni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Governor Alex Otti of Abia State, among others.
