The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), on Saturday attended the 8th Day Fidau prayer for late Comrade Isiaka Olaosebikan Sanyaolu, fondly known as Agbara Po, who passed away on January 31, 2026.
The Fidau prayer was held in honour of the late party stalwart and committed progressive, whose contributions to party organisation and grassroots mobilisation in Ikeja were widely acknowledged.
Chairman Dauda was joined at the prayer session by Hon. Fatai Alugo, former Leader of the Ikeja Legislative Arm; Hon. Ayotunde Adenuga; the APC Chairman of Ward C, Ikeja, Mr. Onamisan Ukiri; the Councillor representing Ward C, Hon. Saburi; as well as other party leaders and stalwarts from across the local government.
During the prayer, Chairman AKOD prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed, asking Almighty Allah to grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus. He also prayed for divine comfort, strength and protection for the family, friends and loved ones left behind.
The Ikeja LG boss described the late Comrade Sanyaolu as a loyal and dedicated party man, noting that his unwavering commitment to the progressive cause and service to the Ikeja political family would remain unforgettable.
