He disclosed that SMB currently has about 120 members with an average age of 60 years, assets comprising two plots of land valued at nearly ₦1 billion, and a ₦30 million treasury investment.

Achievements (2024–2026)
Randle highlighted key achievements of his administration, including successful fundraising towards a new clubhouse, acquisition of games equipment such as table tennis, snooker, darts, ludo, and cards, and the appointment of three patrons and four honorary members.

Other milestones include local and international media rebranding of SMB, induction of 20 new members, recognition awards for five members, adoption of an official club anthem, and the strategic investment of ₦30 million with Stanbic Bank. Facility upgrades were also carried out, including installation of solar power, CCTV, repainting of the clubhouse, and development of the club’s website.
In the area of welfare, he noted that group life insurance coverage was secured for members under 75 years, while dependants of members continue to benefit from structured welfare support.

Vision for 2026–2028
Looking ahead, Randle outlined plans to attract younger members into the Secretariat Membership Club (SMB) through the introduction of new games and technology upgrades. He also proposed the employment of a club manager to oversee administration and accounting, introduction of a yearly budget, and establishment of a Financial Committee to strengthen accountability.
He further revealed plans to fast-track the clubhouse project through project fees, sponsorships, and private investors; engage the state government for moral and financial support; expand inter-club affiliations and activities; and convert a rented flat into a dedicated games section as soon as possible.

Long-Term OutlookO

In the long term, Randle said SMB plans to construct a purpose-built clubhouse based on a proposed four-storey 3D design, raise funds through engagements with invited dignitaries and social events, and strengthen its community presence to attract new members and voluntary sponsorship.

He concluded by appreciating the Founding Patron, Trustees, Executive Council, and members of the Secretariat Membership Club (SMB) for their continued support, welcoming constructive criticism, and reaffirming his readiness to continue serving in the collective interest of the club.
