The All Progressive Congress (APC) Ikeja Federal Constituency continued the Ward to-Ward grassroots mobilization, in Ojodu LCDA, with a walk-through rally in Ward A, in support and grassroots awareness for the party’s candidates which include the Presidential Candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate Senator Kashim Shettima, towards the next year Presidential election.
Day 2 of the Ward to Ward campaigns to also create public awareness for the second term bid of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and his deputy Dr. Obafemi Hamzat on Friday, 16th December 2022.
Other candidates on the ballot for the party include the amiable top-rank federal lawmaker, Rt. Honourable James Abiodun Faleke, for House of Representatives, Ikeja Federal Constituency; Dr. Idiat Adebule for Lagos West Senatorial seat, and the two Lagos State House of Assembly members, Ikeja Constituency I & II, Hon. Seyi Lawal and Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu respectively.
The rally took off from Shogunro Oluwole tarmac through Phase Two, Ogba and its adjourning streets to Acme and terminating at Oloti in Adekunle Village.
The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. David Odunmbaku and the Chairperson APC Ojodu LCDA, Hon Stella Kokumo were on ground to lead the campaign train, including those from Ikeja Local Government led by the APC LGA Chairman and Chair of the APC 57 LGAs in Lagos State, Alhaji Dally Adeokun.
The Council Chairman of Ojodu LCDA , Hon Odumbaku in his opening remark enjoined all eligible voters in the council, that come February 2023, to turn out enmass and vote massively for all the APC candidates, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Babajide Sanwoolu, Dr Idiat Adebule, James Abiodun Faleke, Adedamola Kasunmu and Seyi Lawal in the 2023 elections as they have been doing in past elections.
The Ikeja Federal Constituency Ward by Ward grassroots engagement rally which was conceptualized, to mobilize and canvass grassroots voters for optimum electoral success for APC in the 2023 general elections. Billed to consecutively run across all the eighteen wards in Ikeja Federal Constituency and was flagged off days ago at Ward A in Ikeja Local Government, the campaign train’s next takeoff point will be Palace Square Onigbongbo LCDA, 2pm on Monday.
