The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has reaffirmed the importance of political unity and collective commitment following a strategic visit to his leader, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, at the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) office in Abuja.

Dauda, who described the visit as a great honour and privilege, was accompanied by the Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo LCDA, Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo, to meet with Faleke, the representative of Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and a member of the PCC.

The engagement comes on the heels of the formal inauguration of the Presidential Campaign Council for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign at the State House, Abuja, on Wednesday, signalling increased political mobilisation ahead of the forthcoming presidential election.

Following the inauguration, AKOD observed that campaign activities had moved into full gear, emphasising the need for party leaders, elected representatives and grassroots stakeholders to strengthen their cooperation and work towards a common objective.

He maintained that success would depend on the willingness of all stakeholders to put in the necessary effort, remain united and sustain effective collaboration throughout the campaign.

The visit underscores the significance of leadership engagement and grassroots coordination in Ikeja Federal Constituency as APC stakeholders intensify efforts towards President Tinubu’s re-election bid.
