Two governorship candidates in Lagos state have denied their purported endorsement and withdrawal from the 2023 governorship race for Olajide Adeniran, the candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party.

Few days ago, the media space was awash with reported news of a coalition of governorship candidates stepping down and throwing their weight behind Adediran, popularly known as Jandor.

But, further checks revealed that there was not total truth in the story.

It was also reported by The Nation that candidates of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), Adenipebi Adekunle and Mrs. Adeyemi Abiola, who is flying the ticket of the Action People’s Party (APP) have debunked the reported story.
