Eti-Osa Local Government under the leadership of Hon. Saheed Adesegun Bankole joined in celebrating the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, yesterday, June 28, at the Council Secretariat.
The Council Mayor said the Governor whose birthday was on the 26th of June, is a visionary leader and therefore deserves to be celebrated in a befitting way. He reiterated the outstanding performances of the Governor who has contributed immensely to the growth of Lagos State. He commended him for working tirelessly towards the significant advancement of all sectors of the state’s economy.
Honourable Saheed said Governor Sanwo-Olu has consecutively on 3 occasions won best Governor, therefore, he is worthy of a second term. He urged that for continuity, the citizens owe him the responsibility of voting in the forthcoming election, hence, the need to register for their voters cards.He wished the Governor longevity in sound health, more wisdom and strength for greater exploits and excellence.
To celebrate the quintessential leader, there was an interdenominational prayer session led by the Chief Imam, Imam Ibrahim Akuruyejo and the CAN chairman of Eti-Osa LG, Bishop Henry Ogbuehi, alongside other side attractions at the event.
The Vice-Chairman, Omooba Adeola Adetoro Adeyanju, the Legislative Councilllors, Executives, Management Team, Staffers and some political leaders in the community were all in attendance at the event
