Veteran actor, director and producer, Prince Jide Kosoko, has appealed to Nigerians and fans across the world to continue praying for his colleague, Alhaji Taiwo Babatunde Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, who is currently receiving medical attention.

Veteran actor, director and producer, Prince Jide Kosoko, has appealed to Nigerians and fans across the world to continue praying for his colleague, Alhaji Taiwo Babatunde Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, who is currently receiving medical attention.

Kosoko, in a message of appreciation to fans, friends, colleagues and well-wishers, expressed profound gratitude for the outpouring of concern, prayers, encouragement and offers of assistance following reports about Ogogo’s health.

He said hundreds of people had reached out with offers of spiritual, medical and other forms of assistance, noting that the family and colleagues deeply appreciate every individual who has shown concern and willingness to help.

“However, we humbly appeal to everyone not to stop praying for Ogogo. Please, continue to pray with us. We believe strongly that, with your prayers, our prayers, and the mercy of Almighty God, Taye will come out of this situation successfully. There is nothing impossible before Almighty God,” Kosoko said.

The veteran actor also clarified why Ogogo could not be moved from the hospital to various locations in response to the numerous offers of spiritual treatment and assistance.

According to him, transporting Ogogo from the hospital to different locations at this stage of his treatment could be extremely difficult and potentially disruptive to his ongoing care.

Kosoko disclosed that offers of assistance had come from more than 300, and even over 500, individuals, each of whom sincerely believed they had something that could help Ogogo.

“The challenge is simply: Where do we take him to? And how do we move him from the hospital while he is receiving care?” he asked.

He urged those who had offered assistance not to feel offended or disappointed if Ogogo could not be brought to them, stressing that the decision was not a reflection of distrust or disregard for their intentions.

“Our inability to bring him to anyone does not mean that we do not appreciate you, nor does it mean that we doubt your intentions or your desire to help,” Kosoko said.

He added that the overwhelming support from people across Nigeria and beyond had deeply touched those around Ogogo.

Kosoko therefore encouraged supporters to continue offering prayers and other forms of support from wherever they are, while expressing confidence that Ogogo would overcome his present health challenge through divine intervention.

“Keep praying. Keep supporting us. Keep believing with us. Whatever you believe can be done from your end, please continue to do so,” he appealed.

The actor expressed optimism that with continued prayers, faith and the mercy of God, Ogogo would successfully emerge from the situation.
