The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Akeem Olalekan Dauda, was among prominent figures at the 3rd Ramadan Public Lecture organised by the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The well-attended event, hosted by the party’s state leadership, brought together stakeholders, party faithful, and notable personalities for a reflective session centred on sustaining spirituality beyond the holy month of Ramadan.
Dignitaries present included the Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, Tayo Akinmade Ayinde; Conference 57 Chairman of Chairmen and Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Abdullahi Olowa; APC Ikeja LGA Chairman, Adetoro Adebowale; APC Ojodu LCDA Chairperson, Olusola Kokumo; and Lagos State House of Assembly member, Bisi Yusuf Tobun, among others.
Speaking at the event, Chairman Dauda commended the organisers for sustaining a platform that promotes moral consciousness, unity, and shared responsibility within the party and the broader community. He emphasised that the core values of Ramadan—discipline, sacrifice, and compassion—remain essential for nation-building and effective grassroots governance.
He also reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to inclusive leadership, peaceful coexistence, and continuous engagement with residents of Ikeja.
The lecture concluded with prayers for the continued progress and prosperity of Lagos State and Nigeria.
