Former Ward Chairmen Congratulate Newly Inaugurated Ojodu LCDA Executive Council

The League of Former Ward Chairmen in Ikeja Federal Constituency has congratulated the newly appointed Secretary to the Local Government (SLG), Supervisors, Special Advisers and the Chief of Staff to the Chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) following their inauguration into the council’s Executive Council.

In a press statement issued on Wednesday, the group’s Publicity Secretary, Comrade Segun Daramola, described the appointments as well-deserved and expressed confidence that the new officials would contribute significantly to governance and grassroots development in the council area.

The group also expressed appreciation to political leaders in Ojodu LCDA for what it described as their roles in ensuring a successful inauguration ceremony.

“We appreciate our leaders, including Rt Hon James Abiodun Faleke, Member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency; Cardinal James Odunmbaku, a member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC); Hon Muyiwa Oloro; other apex leaders; and the Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon Segun Odunmbaku, for the success of the inauguration ceremony,” the statement read.

The League further wished the appointees success in their new roles, urging them to work in harmony with the council chairman to deliver effective governance, accelerate development in Ojodu LCDA and strengthen the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the grassroots.

The newly inaugurated officials include Chief of Staff to the Chairman, Olaide John Bello; Secretary to the Local Government, Abdusalam Olawale Morakinyo; and Supervisors—Alaba Adekunle, Christianah Fayoyin, Omobola Faola, Taiwo Tifase, Apampa Lukman, Lekan Peters, Lanre Shotomi, Lateef Akanbi, Tolu Dada, Adedapo Ayanniyi, Olalekan Oyejide, Funke Akinwale, Folake Adams, Femi Fadeyi and Seye Oyekan Olatubosun.

Others are Special Advisers—Femi Olatunji, Omolade Omolabi, Orungbemila Folayomi, Prince Adeniji Adele, Rasheed Aro and Adebowale Laide.
