CP Olohundare Decorates Newly Promoted Senior Officers in Lagos Command

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olohundare Jimoh, has decorated a new set of senior officers recently elevated to higher ranks, reaffirming the unwavering commitment of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, to merit-driven career advancement within the Nigeria Police Force.

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olohundare Jimoh, has decorated a new set of senior officers recently elevated to higher ranks, reaffirming the unwavering commitment of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, to merit-driven career advancement within the Nigeria Police Force.

During the ceremony held at the Command Headquarters, CP Olohundare commended the Police Service Commission (PSC) for sustaining a transparent and credible promotion process that ensures professionalism and reward for hard work. The promotions covered officers elevated from Superintendent of Police (SP) to Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) to Superintendent of Police (SP), as well as confirmations for Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs).

 

Delivering the IGP’s goodwill message, the Commissioner noted that each promotion represents renewed confidence and responsibility, urging the newly promoted officers to demonstrate integrity, sound judgment, and a deeper commitment to public service. He reminded them that leadership in policing demands accountability, discipline, and consistent dedication to citizens’ safety.

 

Among those decorated were CSP Agba Anna (DPO, Ajao Estate Division), CSP Jacob Gana Jiya (DPO, Ilemba-Hausa Division), CSP Hadiza Jidda (DPO, Ogombo Division), CSP Amoda Fatai (DCO, Ikeja Division), CSP Udomfiok Emmanuel (2i/c Gender Unit), CSP Aroloye Bamikole (DPO, Agbowa Division), and CSP Momoh Kamaldeen (DPO, Apapa Division).

In their joint remarks, the newly promoted officers expressed gratitude to the IGP and the PSC for recognizing their commitment to service. They pledged to uphold the core values of the Force, lead with professionalism, and rededicate themselves to maintaining peace and security across Lagos State.
