“I have received with joy and gratitude the news of the resounding victory of our candidates in the local government elections held across Lagos State on Saturday, July 12, 2025,” Sanwo-Olu said.

“This outcome is a clear affirmation of the trust and confidence that the good people of Lagos have in the APC’s vision, leadership, and unwavering commitment to inclusive development at the grassroots.”

Sanwo-Olu praised the electorate for their participation and noted that the victory belonged to the people of the state.

“Indeed, this victory belongs to the people of Lagos. It reflects your belief in our shared goals and your support for continuity, progress, and people-centred governance,” he said.

He applauded the elected chairmen and councillors, reminding them that the mandate they received brings the obligation to serve all residents, not just party loyalists.
