The Lagos State Governor’s Chief of Staff, Mr. Tayo Ayinde, made a condolence visit to the family of the late Onigbongbo LCDA Executive Chairman, Hon Oladotun Olakanle, who passed away on Saturday at 54.

Mr. Ayinde, who visited the late Council Chairman’s Peace Estate residence on Tuesday, had previously conveyed condolences to the Onigbongbo LCDA community following Hon. Oladotun Olakanle’s sudden passing on Saturday morning due to a short illness.

Sanwo-Olu’s CoS condolence message read: “The news of your death came as a rude shock , but we have solace in God, that you are already in his bosom.  Rest well with the Lord till we meet to depart no more” he prayed in conclusion.

Mr. Ayinde in an earlier statement received by Lagos Panorama on Saturday offered condolences “I am deeply saddened to learn about the passing of our beloved Executive Chairman, Hon. Oladotun Olakanle”.

“This irreparable loss leaves me with immense grief and sorrow”.

He further said “My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, colleagues, and the entire Onigbongbo LCDA community”.

“May the people and government find strength and solace in this difficult time”.

“Hon. Olakanle was a visionary leader, dedicated public servant and champion of community development”.

“His tireless efforts and selfless service transformed lives and improved the well-being of Onigbongbo’s residents”.

“His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched and profound projects he initiated”.

“I recount his outstanding commitment, wisdom and compassion”.

“May God grant you comfort, peace, and fortitude to bear this loss”.

“May Hon. Olakanle’s soul rest in perfect peace” he offered a final prayer in conclusion.
