The Secretarial Membership Club on Good-Friday 29th of March 2024, marks its monthly Suya Night with the celebration of six members of the Club whose birthdays fall within the month.

Randle averred that “It was indeed a full house as members used the opportunity to mark good Friday and the monthly Suya night”.

Mr. Felix Abayomi Alao who clocked 70 years on the 26th of March, expressed his satisfaction and appreciation to the club’s Executive Council for a well-organized birthday bash for him and others.

Mr. Alao who spoke on behalf of other celebrants noted that “I was the inaugural Secretary of the club when it was founded in 1991, I am a foundation member, my respect goes to all the members, we’ve stood together through thick and thin, we’ve  here ex-presidents, ex-secretaries and a host of others, our club has really come of age and I just want to salute all of you, every member of this club deserve commendation”.

He also used the moment to recognize the presence of royal fathers at the event, the Abepa of Joga land, HRM Oba (Dr) Adeyemi Olanrewaju Adekeye and the Eselu of Iselu kingdom, Oba Akintunde Akinyemi.

Other celebrants of the day and their dates include Mr. Ebun Adeniji 8th, Mr. Wale Oshodi 12th, Captain Bayo Araba 18th, Mr Kamar Babalola 27th and Alhaji Lateef Fahm 28th March.

The immediate past President, Gabriel Ayeni conducted the toast for the celebrants after the rendering birthdays.

The Secretariat Membership Club, an offshoot of the Airline Pilots and Flight Engineers Association of Nigeria, was formed in 1991.

At the 33rd Annual General Meeting of the club in February, Otunba Ayodeji Randle was elected together with a team of dedicated executive members committed to enhancing the club’s standards.

In his inaugural speech, Randle pledged his full dedication to the members, vowing to collaborate closely with the executive to enhance the club’s standing, and set it on a path to success.
