The distinguished Member House of Representatives for Ikeja Federal Constituency Rt. Hon James Abiodun Faleke of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has won the fourth consecutive term as a Member House of Representatives for the Ikeja Federal Constituency after he polled 24, 657 to beat Chief Mutiu Kunle Okunola of the Labour Party who scored 21, 816 votes and Adewale Oyeniyi of Peoples’ Democratic Party with 7, 674.

Faleke in a message received by Lagos Panorama on Monday thanked the residents of Ikeja Federal Constituency for believing in him and returning him to office with their votes.
The amiable Federal Lawmaker said, “Good morning to all of our people. I want to use this opportunity to say thank you to all of you for believing in me and returning me to the office with your votes to represent you”.
“Unfortunately we lost the Presidential election to Labour which is not good for us”.
“I want to appeal to you all to please and please come out and vote for the Governorship and House of Assembly Elections on Saturday”.
“We had 15 mobilizers per unit but during the past National Elections, and from the polling units I visited, most of the 15 people were not available for the work. This affected the outcome as most of the registered voters did not come out to vote”.
“Please let us change our attitude and change the tide in the next election. God bless you all. Amen” he concluded
