2023: Former Reps Member Endorses Lagos Speaker, Obasa for 6th Term

A former member of the House of Representatives representing Agege federal constituency, Hon Taofeek Adaranijo has endorsed the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa for the 6th term as member of the Assembly representing Agege 1 constituency come 2023.

A former member of the House of Representatives representing Agege federal constituency, Hon Taofeek Adaranijo has endorsed the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa for the 6th term as member of the Assembly representing Agege 1 constituency come 2023.

Obasa was first elected into the Lagos Assembly in 2003. He was reelected in 2007 for second term. In 2011, he returned to the House for the 3rd term. In 2015, he was elected again for the 4th term during which he emerged as the Speaker of the House.

In 2019, Obasa was returned to the House for his 5th term and he subsequently retained his position as Speaker.

Adaranijo, who is also a former Chairman of Orile-Agege LCDA and current Commissioner in the Lagos State Local Government Service Commission, said the stakeholders in Agege had agreed that Obasa should be returned to the Lagos House of Assembly to retain the pride of the Agege people, adding that the decision was non-negotiable.

“For us in Agege, we have agreed to retain, sustain and promote our pride in Lagos State.

“Agege at the number 3 position in the helms of affairs in Lagos State Government is our Joy.

“Not yet time for us to be at back in the decision making in this Center of Excellence.

“TOGETHER, WE SAY, RT. HON. DR Mudashiru Obasa TO SPEAK YET ONE MORE. AGEGE 01 FOR RT. HON. DR. OBASA NON-NEGOTIABLE,” Adaranijo said.
