The Ikeja Community Development Committees and all the 20 Community Development Associations have declared their support for all the All Progressives Congress APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections

The Community leaders made this declaration during a consultative and thank you meeting with the wife of the most distinguished Member of the House of Representatives for Ikeja Federal Constituency, Chief Mrs. Olubukola Faleke on Saturday to express gratitude and appreciation for their continuous support for her husband and the progressives party.

The Yeye Akorede-Atunluse of Ikeja Land has the consultative meeting with the Executives of CDA/CDC, as well as the Landlord/Residents Association in Ikeja Local Government and Onigbongbo LCDA to thank them for their continued support for her husband and to also seek their support for all the APC Candidates during the forthcoming general elections.
Mrs. Faleke was accompanied by the Chairperson APC Ojodu LCDA Alhaja Olusola Kokumo, Vice Chairman Ojodu LCDA Honorable Olubunmi Oluyadi, the anchor of the event Barr Olawale Ajala and host of other party leaders and well-wishers across the Ikeja Federal Constituency

On the ground to receive the entourage were the Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Eng Dr Mojeed Balogun, and the CDA/CDC Executive members.
The Chairman CDC Ikeja, Alhaji Kaleen Osiberu, said the Ikeja Community is well pleased with Rt. Hon Faleke because his performance has surpassed their expectations, hence they have endorsed his reelection.
He noted that the entire 20 CDA in Ikeja has endorsed Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the next President of Nigeria.
Osiberu also stated that the CDC has unanimously endorsed and adopted the entire APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
Bar.Ajala in his introductory remark informed the CDA/CDC Executives present at the occasion on the use of the Biometric Voters Accreditation System, BVAS machine, which he said makes it different from previous elections, hence the need to sensitize their people.

He also encouraged them to mobilize others to go and get their Permanent Voters Cards, PVCs, ready, so as to be able to vote massively for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Ikeja Federal Constituency being his Political base, Rt Honorable James Abiodun Faleke and other APC Candidates.
He said that the media and political analysts would want to know the number of votes of these two important Candidates as Faleke is the Secretary of the Presidential Campaign Committee.

Subsequently, Alhaja Kokumo while thanking and appreciating the association for their support in previous elections, hereby read out all the APC Candidates which include APC Presidential Candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the reelection of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos West Senatorial candidate Dr Idiat Adebule, the reelection of Rt Hon James Abiodun Faleke and the Lagos State House of Assembly candidates for Ikeja Constituency 1 and 2, Hon Seyi Lawal and Hon Adedamola Richard Kasunmu respectively on the ballots.

She seeks their support by encouraging them to vote massively for them come February 25th and March 11, 2023.
Chief Mrs. Bukola Faleke was standing in for her husband, Rt. Honorable James Abiodun Faleke thanked the people on his behalf for their support in previous elections.
She implored them to mobilize the Ikeja communities and get their Permanent Voters Cards as this the only weapon they have to vote for all the APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections
The adorable wife of the Federal Lawmaker said “Without PVCs, you are not eligible to vote, she emphasized”.
While responding to the request for more slots of the Rt Hon James Abiodun Faleke’s Empowerments program where over 5,000 Ikeja Federal Constituents have immensely benefited, for members of the association.
She expressed her deep concern for their demands and promised to lay all their complaint before her husband. Various gift items ranging from foodstuffs, souvenirs and cash were presented to the members by Mrs. Faleke.

The same gesture was also extended to their Onigbongbo counterparts on their visits.

Hon Faleke for his immense support which made his work easy, among other things he mentioned the provision of transformers to all the communities that required it, the provision of solar-powered street lights to all the streets and the empowerment of youths and others in the Ikeja Federal Constituency.
