Lagos APC Chairman Applauds AKOD’s Transformational Strides
The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), on Wednesday commissioned two newly rehabilitated roads—Shanu Street and Balogun Street—delivering yet another milestone in his administration’s drive for inclusive infrastructural renewal.
The Lagos State APC Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, led a delegation of APC State Working Committee members to perform the commissioning. His presence underscored the significance of the projects and reaffirmed the party leadership’s confidence in AKOD’s commitment to quality governance.
At Shanu Street, the Managing Director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), Dr. Kayode Opeifa, joined dignitaries to commend the Chairman’s consistent investment in grassroots development and community welfare.
Pastor Ojelabi, in his remarks, lauded Chairman AKOD for “making the party proud by delivering on his promises and improving the daily experience of residents across Ikeja.” He encouraged residents to sustain their support for the APC, assuring them that the party remains committed to progress, prosperity, and people-focused leadership.
