President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Africa’s leading industrialist and philanthropist, on his birthday.

The President, in a statement issued by presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga on Thursday, praised Dangote as a visionary whose dedication has greatly shaped Africa’s economic growth.

He commended Dangote for his significant contributions to Nigeria’s industrialisation, highlighting his ventures in cement manufacturing, agriculture, and the Dangote Refinery.

These efforts, according to President Tinubu, have helped Nigeria strive for self-sufficiency and provided thousands of jobs.

The President also acknowledged Dangote’s philanthropy, particularly through the Dangote Foundation, which has improved the lives of millions of underprivileged Africans.

“Aliko Dangote’s life is a testament to hard work, generosity, and a deep belief in Nigeria’s potential,” President Tinubu said.

“His commitment to people and nation-building shows both business ingenuity and love for humanity.”

The President prayed for Dangote’s continued health, wisdom, and further success in his endeavours.

He urged younger Nigerians to draw inspiration from Dangote’s entrepreneurial spirit, resilience, and service to the nation.
