Tinubu/Sanwoolu/Faleke Walk; Engr. Mojeed Alabi receives youths on a courtesy visit

The Executive Chairman of Ikeja LGA, Engr. Mojeed Alabi Balogun FPA MNSE received the members of Coalition of Ikeja Youths (CIY) on a courtesy visit.

The Executive Chairman of Ikeja LGA, Engr. Mojeed Alabi Balogun FPA MNSE received the members of Coalition of Ikeja Youths (CIY) on a courtesy visit.

The visit which took place at the conference room of the Ikeja House was well attended by the steering committee members of the youth group with the Secretary to the Local Government (SLG), Alhaji Akeem Dauda (Lagbaja)

Mr. Kenneth Ogar on behalf of the steering committee members briefed the chairman about the aims and Objectives of the group and also activities they have done so far.

The leader of Ikeja Legislative Arm who’s also one of the steering committee members, Hon. AYOTUNDE ADENUGA also informed the chairman about the CIYs’ plan to stage a 100,000 Youths March to galvanise youths support for our leaders in different positions and also solicit for the total support of the chairman as Ikeja LGA is the pioneer and mother of the other two LCDAs.

Mr. Ademola Banjo (Playsafe) praised the chairman for his fatherly role in the way he has handled political activities in the past and how he has unite the party across Ikeja Federal Constituency.

The chairman in his tact response bore his mind on the fact that there is no much inclusiveness in the formation of the Youths Coalition, he reeled out his political experiences on the field and why it is very important for the youths to rally round and ensure that everyone comes on board for a successful outing on the 27th of August.

The Mayor stressed further that the youths should see beyond this walk and come up with a strategic plan to galvanise real voters within Ikeja to ensure maximum victory for all the candidates of the APC at the general elections.

The meeting ended as Hon. Francis Nkwo gave the vote of thanks.
