The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday felicitated with Osun State Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on his 67th birthday.
The former Lagos Governor described Oyetola as an unassuming trailblazer, astute manager of resources and silent achiever.
Tinubu urged the governor not to relent in his effort to make the desired difference in the lives of Osun State people.
In a birthday congratulatory statement sent by his Media Office, the APC leader said: “I join your family, friends, associates and millions of your admirers to felicitate with you on the occasion of your 67th birthday.
“I thank God for your life and the opportunities He has given you to be on the saddle at this momentous time to superintend over the affairs your State of Osun.
“The totality of your personality revolves around your humble beginnings, remarkable successes in business and ultimate fulfilment in life.
“You have demonstrated the virtues of an Omoluabi as exemplified in your exceptional character, humility, integrity, honesty, resilience and decency.
“Through my close relationship with you, I can attest to the fact that you are an embodiment of patriotism, courage, tolerance and philosophical calmness especially on testy occasions that would have ordinarily taxed the patience of any leader.
“What you celebrate today is the progress and development that you and your team have brought to Osun State and the renewed hope you have given the people.
“Your government of continuity, which commands mass acceptance and goodwill, has successfully built on the foundation laid by your worthy predecessors. I note with satisfaction that you preside over a state that treasures its peace and tranquillity under an inclusive, dynamic and transformational leadership.
“You are a model governor in the way and manner you have judiciously utilised state resources in the last three years, through creative financial engineering and management, to impact the lives of your people. Indeed, you have demonstrated a personal example of candour, simplicity and humility in power.
“At the state and national level, your mediatory roles, contributions to reconciliatory efforts, deep commitment and investment in the general progress of our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), are worthy of commendation.
