Tinubu mourns Ribadu’s mother-in-law

President Bola Tinubu has commiserated with elder statesman and former minister of defence, Professor Iya Abubakar, over the passing of his wife, Ummu Abubakar.

President Bola Tinubu has commiserated with elder statesman and former minister of defence, Professor Iya Abubakar, over the passing of his wife, Ummu Abubakar.

Hajiya Ummu Abubakar passed away in Abuja. She was 78.

The President stated that the deceased, who was also the mother-in-law of the National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, would be remembered for her devotion to God and dedication to family values.

Tinubu prayed for God’s mercy on the departed and urged her family to maintain the good name she left behind.
