Third Mainland Bridge Repairs Advisory

The Federal Government, on Sunday, sought the cooperation of motorists as comprehensive repairs on Third Mainland Bridge commences today. Federal Controller of Works, Lagos, Olukorede Kesha, who spoke to newsmen, revealed that the closing of two ramps of Third Mainland Bridge was for two weeks comprehensive repairs.

The Federal Government, on Sunday, sought the cooperation of motorists as comprehensive repairs on Third Mainland Bridge commences today. Federal Controller of Works, Lagos, Olukorede Kesha, who spoke to newsmen, revealed that the closing of two ramps of Third Mainland Bridge was for two weeks comprehensive repairs.

This would be done in 2 Phases:

Phase 1:

First two weeks Monday 6th November, 2023.

Closure of:

1.Ramp inward Adekunle from Oworonshoki.

  1. Ramp inward Adekunle from Lagos Island .

Phase 2:

3 weeks After (20th November 2023)

Closure of :

1.Ramp outward from Adekunle to Oworonshoki

2.Ramp outward from Adekunle to the Island.

Please note the Third Mainland Bridge would be open for Motorist heading direct to the Victoria Island axis, and from the Island towards Oworonshoki whilst the diversions into Ebute Metta axis would be worked upon at this phase.

Alternative routes are already communicated.
