“It is with a heavy heart that I read and followed the reports of the disaster along the Bida–Agaie Highway in Niger State, where a petrol-laden tanker exploded, claiming about 35 lives,” Sanwo-Olu said.
He added: “Our thoughts and prayers are with my brother, Governor Mohammed Bago, the government and people of Niger State, and the families of the victims of this heartbreaking incident. I pray that God grants the deceased eternal rest and gives their families the strength to bear the irreparable loss. I also wish the injured a speedy recovery.”
