Shock, tears as Ubong King popular motivational speaker dies

It was a sad Saturday night yesterday, 26th of December, 2020 when the news of the demise of Ubong King hit the nation.

The popular business consultant, who was also a renowned motivational speaker and security expert, breathed his last in Lagos yesterday.

The father of four and president of the Ubong King Foundation was 48 years at the time of his death.

Our source, who is a close associate of Ubong’s claimed he spoke to him few hours before his sudden demise.

The cause of his death is still unknown. However, sources say he had tested positive to the dreaded Coronavirus and may have died as a result of complications with the lethal virus.

The 49-year-old was said to have died on Saturday 26 December 2020 in Lagos. The cause of his death is unknown.

Recently, the life coach shared his success story with his mentees saying he never believed that he could have been so successful.

Ubong King disclosed that back in the year 2000, he was a security officer at Coca-cola bottling company and never knew he could be so successful.

Ubong was the former chairman of the American Society of Industrial Security and provided security services for many through his company, Protection Plus Service Ltd.

His Ubong King Foundation has also raised many youths with strong leadership skills to face tough challenges.

In 2018, he set the pace as the convener of Thinkation- coined from Thinking and Education- a platform that brought together good heads all over the country and in Africa to mental awaken the profitable business mindset. He convened this under the Ubong King Foundation Ubong King, until the time of his death, was a motivational speaker, mentor husband, and father.

He is married to Unyime Ivy-King. Ubong King was a former chairman of The American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) International Chapter 206, Lagos.

His reported demise has led to many on Twitter heartbroken. Many Nigerians have expressed sadness over the demise of Ubong King.
