Hon. Seye Oladejo, a leading aspirant for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for Mushin II Federal Constituency in the upcoming House of Representatives elections, has been honoured with the Political Icon Special Award at the 2026 City People Political Awards.
The award, conferred by City People Magazine, recognises Oladejo’s sustained dedication to public service, his impactful leadership within the APC, and his notable contributions to governance and grassroots development in Lagos State, particularly in Mushin Local Government.
Widely regarded as a seasoned administrator and party stalwart, Oladejo has built a strong reputation for advancing people-oriented policies. His track record includes serving as former Chairman of Mushin Local Government, a two-term member of the Lagos State Executive Council, and Spokesperson for the Lagos State APC—roles that underscore his commitment to integrity, service, and development.
Though he was unable to attend the award ceremony in Lagos, organisers confirmed that the honour will be formally presented to him at a later date. The recognition further highlights his growing influence in promoting democratic values, inclusive growth, and the core ideals of the APC.
In his reaction, Oladejo expressed gratitude to the organisers and dedicated the award to the people of Mushin and Lagos State.
“This recognition goes beyond me; it represents the shared aspirations of our people and our collective vision for a better Mushin and a greater Lagos,” he said.
Residents and supporters have since congratulated him on the achievement, expressing confidence in his continued leadership and capacity to deliver impactful representation.
