Less than 48 hours after he was released from police custody over alleged assault, afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has left for Switzerland to kick off his Europe tour. 

The son of Afrobeat legend, Fela Kuti confirmed this on his Insta story on Thursday.

The singer shared his picture in a plane with the caption: “Euro tour kicks off tonight in Zurich.”

This came after the singer was released on bail on Tuesday night, following his arrest for assaulting a police officer.
