The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, has congratulated former Deputy Governor of Lagos State and member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), His Excellency, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, on the occasion of his 85th birthday anniversary.
In a message issued on behalf of the people of Lagos East, Senator Abiru described Prince Ogunleye as “a great statesman whose wisdom, integrity, and unwavering commitment to progressive governance have remained a source of inspiration to many in politics and public service.”
He commended the elder statesman’s selfless contributions to the growth and stability of Lagos State, noting that his exemplary leadership as the Apex Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikorodu Division has continued to foster unity and purpose within the party.
“Your life of service, humility, and patriotism stands as a shining example for younger generations of leaders,” Abiru stated.
On behalf of himself and his wife, Mrs. Feyisola Abiru, the Senator wished Prince Ogunleye continued good health, divine strength, and peace in the years ahead.
“Congratulations and happy 85th birthday, Your Excellency,” the statement concluded.
